Leadership Austin: The Best Party Ever!

If you're looking to network with some of Austin's best leaders than this party is for you. For those of you not already familiar with Leadership Austin they provide an intensive leadership training class for local leaders. Their list of alumni is quite impressive.

Their Best Party Ever event is a fundraiser for this non-profit organizations and typically draws 400 or more people.

Austin Independent Business Alliance - CLIC Tradeshow

Austin Networkers: Relay for Life

A group of local Austin Networkers are planning on raising money for the American Cancer Society by walking for 12 straight hours. The event takes place from 7pm Friday until 7am on Saturday.

Get involved. Take part in the event and get to know some of Austin's finest networkers (the ones with really big hearts). Or consider making a contribution to the Austin Networkers Team.

Austin Networking Event: Toast to the Town

Catalyst 8 of the Long Center for the Performing Arts, the Young Women's Alliance, the Young Men's Business League, and Austin Under 40 have joined together to bring you "A Toast to the Town". Evan Smith, last year's Austin Under 40 winner will join us to speak about his experience with community involvement and the effects it has had on his life. Hutto Networking Event: B3 Network

NetworkInAustin.com member Cindy Gonzalez and I met yesterday. She is putting together a brand new networking group in Hutto, Texas. Cindy has some really great ideas, and is working hard to make this work. I'm very confident that this will be a successful group. In fact I'll be attending the first meeting myself.

The first meeting of the Businesses Building Business Network or B3Network will be Friday, October 28th at the Star Ranch Golf Club Pavilion. This is a breakfast meeting where you'll be able to meet other business professionals from the surrounding cities of: Hutto, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Taylor and Georgetown.

I don't think you'll be disappointed in this innagural event.

Austin Networking Events Blog

Apparently blogging is addictive. This will actually be my second blog. I also post regularly to my: Business Networking in Austin Blog at NetworkInAustin.com. In that blog I generally write about networking lessons that I've learned over the years. This blog is different.

The purpose of this blog is to provide a stream of relevant business and networking events here in Austin, Texas. I realize the business events calendar on Network In Austin can be a little overwhelming. Here you can quickly find the details of the stand out events on a regular basis. In general I will try and post events here between 1 and 2 weeks before the occur. That should give you enough time to RSVP. Of course for larger events like Trade Shows and such I will post that information much further in advance.
